glad we were able to help you with it Hal, but one question......on your red bike, what happened to that left saddlebag lid? did it come off while you were riding? and are you looking for another one?

if you scrolled down to view the parts you should have noticed that they weren't in the best of condition IE: wrinkled and bubbled up on the bottom sides. my personal opinion, I wouldn't go higher than $25.00 for them and that's because if you wanted them perfect, they would have to be rechromed IF they CAN be rechromed.

that part is the cowl trim molding, and its OEM part for the left and right # is 64205-463-770 you also have 4 end caps their #'s are.... 64207-MB9-770 and they only came in black that I am aware of. any other color for the moldings had to have been either painted or chromed :ugeek:. TAA DAA LOL. how wide was the chrome one that you saw. was it the same size as a stock molding or was it very thin,(narrow). btw, im still looking for that extra pump cover piece. if its out there, i'll find it ;).

Excellent job, nice looking machine .l know what it's like to be able to work on a wing when you know that there is such a wealth of information and knowledge from the great contributers on here and their response time is absolutely amazing as I know from working on my wing and getting answers while I'm actually spannering (or sometimes hammering/swearing) :P
