Shaw.ca

Postby seelyark1 » Fri Mar 27, 2015 7:12 pm

I responded to a pm from a member and his email address ended with shaw.ca. :? Since that time, about 99% of the spam emails come from that same address. :x I thought that I had enough spam before, but this is rediculous. If you like spam, this is where to get it. Had never heard of it before, but sure have now. Sorry I responded to him now.

My ISP is Shaw.ca. was it me? Please say it wasnt me........ :o
Because if it was I need to let them know so they can fix it. I dont need people getting spam even indirectly because of me. Shaw has been really good about squashing spammers and blocking spam from my email address. 8-)

(as much as Rogue has been around....and we cherish his friendship and contributions....)

Rogue did it....it is him!!! He is Shaw.ca ;)

Ugh, computers, go figure, eh? We can have these great relationships and then little nuisances (not Rogue, but SPAM).....gotta love 21st century.

Nope, it wasn't Todd. We were talking about helmets and face shields. 8-) Now all the spam I get, well, not all, but most, is from that ISP. Till then, I had never heard of it. Suire have now. :( Just lots more deleting.

you may want to report it to customer service .http://www.shaw.ca They are a major TV and Internet provider in Canada. They are my provider for both but I don't use the email addresses the have available. I am friends with a number of people who work for Shaw and knowing them the company would NOT be happy to find out one of its subscribers is spamming email. They will take corrective action in a heart beat.
