I feel your pain!! It is 7:30 AM Thursday 9th and we have at least 2" of new snow(on the Maine coast) and it is still coming down. And I can't even think about getting my bike out my driveway(1/3 mile long) because it is so soft and muddy. This is going to be a shortened riding season for sure.We are hoping for a "modified" drought this year! Ha!

That would absolutely drive me bonkers! I went outside a little while ago and I promise you it was NOT snowing here.

Not snow here, but rain, 77 yesterday and maybe 81 today. That is just as bad to me.

Yep, it is even sunny here too, took the pic from my bedroom window today. Went for a ride to the coast but the sea is still very, very cold. Ten miles inland and the temps are are 5/6c higher.

I feel your pain! We saw 70 one day then back to 40 and rain. Will have to take advantage of each riding day this year.

We are seeing something here that look like yellow snow. It's pine pollen here with other tree brands in the air.

It's pouring rain with thunder and lightning right now, but the forecast for the next 7 days is calling for 3 days of rain, and 4 days of sun, with temperatures around 15ºC/60ºF. That's not bad. If I could, this riding season, I'd give California half our rain. They'd be happy, I'd be happy, we'd all be happy!
It's still early up here, but we'll get some good riding weather soon. Think positive!.........................Dave

If two inches (about 50mm) of snow fell here, everyone would be out on the front porch marveling at it. We do not have to shovel snow, so my upper arms are not as strong as some 8-) , and at my age, I think my muscles have developed enough not to worry about it. At half way through our Autumn/Fall, we are having a delightful day of 25C/77F, with no wind, no snow, no ice, no mud, no sand - just good old sunshine and warmth. After this, I think I will go for a ride

Come and share a few prawns on the Barbie, and I will have a cold frothy one waiting for you. Mind you if I get a special order in from Darwin, their prawns are about 250 mm (about 10 inches) long. A good feed when you settle down to it. Better than moon-burgers

I've just been watching the MotoGp qualifying from Austin, Texas. The weather looked dull and overcast, I thought Texas was all sunshine and heat.
