replace front tire and brake pads

Postby furnacedoc » Wed Jun 23, 2010 7:33 pm

Hello, I just replaced my front tire and brake pads. I used dyna beads to balance the tire and they ride very smooth. Of course time and alot more miles will tell the tale. The how to articles on this site are very informative and helpful. I enjoy doing as much of my own work as possible, just to know how things work and if I start to have any problems with the "WING" i will have some idea how to take care of it. Thankz again for the info. See you all out on the road.

Glad to hear you're doing work on your wing! I'm surprised more people don't use Dyna Beads, I'm so impressed with them myself, and really don't hear anything but positive comments about them.

I need to try those beads , I ride way too much to not have them .I guess the premise is that as the tire wears it needs constant re-balancing and that should help one to offer farther mileage.

If they prevent the horrible cupping I experienced on my last set of tires (which they are apparently supposed to do), I'll be happy.

Hi all, we just got back from a long week end ride to southern Indiana. down around brown county. If you have not been there it is beautiful. we put on around 1000 miles with my cousin and his wife. they have an 89 Wing. we had a great time and the beads worked great not any vibration at all
