I very much would like to see your bike.
However I'm not sure how to access your pictures or picture page.

Wow, Wow, wow, wow. If I saw that going down the highway I'm not sure I'd know what it was. How much time and money did it take you to accomplish that? Wow. And congrats on your first post :D

It's here: http://goldwingdocs.com/UserPictures/mr ... green_2045

Wow, that's some impressive custom work! What did you make the fairing from?

Also, how do you remove the bags if the wraparound trim is one solid piece?

Hi everyone
The first edition of my bike was built in 2008 and was featured in Motorcycle Mojo Mag. Search "Blake Morley Hat Trick ``on Google and you will see the link to article.
Originally was 99 se but was cut of 2 yrs ago went down and rebuilt with many mods.
I designed boats for a few yrs and that is where I learned to make fiberglass plugs and molds. It is called`Hat Trick because I have been featured first in Furniture mag for my design ability. Then in boat mag for boat design, so third time like in Hockey three goals in a game is Hat Trick.
There is 10 molds for this bike and each one is a huge job with many steps.
I like to work with aluminum and brass as they are easy to work and light (at least Alum is )
If I have to remove the bags I will Have to cut the trim or replace,it is only $50 for 25 ft enough for three times.
I reversed the pull down tabs for opening the bags so I put my finger in a hole under rack and push up to open bag (1 hole for each side)
I call it Foxwing as ``Fox ``has been my nickname since i was 16 which was a long time ago.
The valve covers are 1999 which I shaved with a router and jig then sanded and painted.
The scrolls on the seat are made from half inch plate alum cut out on band saw then routered with round over bit then bent to shape with pipe wrench.
The mufflers are stock with 9 in extensions added on then painted with heat paint but are already turning a little burnt orange at the front (oh well)I have some 99 squash pipes to put on if I have to for this yr.
I have 5 wings 90 , 76. this 94,76 parts bike and 99 parts bike. Bye for now

I had the pleasure of meeting Blake (mr green) earlier this spring when I responded to an add he placed for some parts I needed to replace after my deer strike, and saw this bike in person. He does some very fine cusom work indeed, his skills are not limited to fiberglass and metal. He works with leather and wood as well. 8-)

Ride safe, Todd
Over night campers welcome
