Youth of today

Post by brettchallenger » Fri May 15, 2015 10:39 am

I went for a very pleasant ride today in the afternoon sunshine to nearby Beverley. Fast twisty roads, no traffic. Wonderful. Whilst in Beverley I visited the minster - see pic. A wonderful medieval structure. While I was examining one of the tombs I was struck by the fact that some oaf had chiselled his name into the ancient wall. And this is the house of God, youth of today, no respect etc, these were the thoughts going through my head. Then I noticed the date on offending graffiti - 1686!

LOL. At least that young oaf went to visit the minster. Not sure about today's young oafs.
