Hello everyone. I hope you are doing well today. I hope this is the right place to post this. If not, I apologize. My name is Jeff. I am new to Goldwings altogether. I have always wanted a GW since the early 80's. But, the wife was against me getting another street bike. So, many years later.. Last week we discussed me getting a bike. The wife has been wanting to travel and see places. So, I traded my dirt bike for a 1985 GW GL1200 Aspencade. It needs a little work. But hopefully I can have it running soon. I just wanted to take the time and thank you all for having me here on this awesome site. Looking forward to meeting new people and making some new friends. Have an awesome day!

Welcome to the forum!
There's nothing like riding a Wing.
And if you have any kind of questions about your bike, there is always someone here that can, and will help out.

Thank you very much. I have been soaking up the info you have here. Trying to read before asking any questions. If I have any issues I will be sure to ask.

Welcome to GoldwingDocs. It is probably the most helpful site on the web, especially for Goldwings. You might have to change your username from RideTheWind, to RideTheWing aftey you start riding it,
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

And welcome from the Deep Deep South. It looks like it has the go fast colour, and you and your SO should be comfortable on your journeys. You might have to clean the bugs from your teeth more often, as the smiles can get clogged otherwise.
