Hi decided to spray paint the top box rails black (spur of the moment) bought spray paint thought it said wrinkle free ? Started spraying , looked strange turns out it's actually wrinkle paint .paint that wrinkles .I mean really why make it . Entirely my fault but I mean wrinkle paint

Wrinkle paint used to be popular in British sports cars, Italian exotics, etc. back in the '60's and '70's. Theoretically, its increased surface area dissipated heat better than smooth painted finishes, so it was popular on valve covers, etc. It was considered a fairly high-end finish, as it took a fair bit of extra labor (special preparation, multiple coats with precise timing, baking, etc.) to achieve an acceptable result. I tried it a time or two, without much success, as it's damp in these parts most of the year, which precludes a good result.

Properly done, it provides a tough, durable, hard finish. It was commonly used by Jaguar, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, et al. Ferrari even did it in colors...

Ah, my special preparation consisted of sanding then rattle can spray. Im going to stick to my day job and leave the spraying to people who know what they are doing.but it's now going to be stripped and rechromed :)
