So here's an update with sleeping beauty and I.
Where do we begin?? A few months ago we started planning for a trip. The only roadblock preventing this trip was her clutch , for some reason each time I would take her out for a short ride, the clutch handle would go soft, thus rendering us inching our way back home. I had attempted all the obvious fixes, bleeding , rebuilt master cylinder all to no avail. I became so frustrated, I put her up for sale, and started eyeing the 1500. After several tricky deals which left a bad taste in my mouth, I went ahead and contacted Andy, who sells the steel braided hel lines on this forum. He knew the exact specs for my bike and I received the line promptly. Today I installed it will ease and took her out for a test run. I will have to say that now the lever is strong as ever and shifting is even easier. A big shoutout goes to Andy and this forum for helping me once again. Sleeping beauty is happy again and we can now travel in confidence.

So now Sleeping Beauty is good in the clutches. Even better than before.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

You sure did a good job of putting her back together again. Good looking bike. :)
Ride safe, and smart. Asphalt is like #1 grit sandpaper. Dave
