communications gear

Does anyone have a suggestion about how to find an affordable 5 pin communication head set for Goldwings, or is it better to do Blue tooth set up? New to 1500 set up and am technically challenge to wire stuff.

These guys are much less expensive than most others I have found. The products work fine.

I've used these from Cyclemax.

There are sometimes different models depending on your helmet (1/2, 3/4, full face), so keep that in mind when buying a set and get one that will work.
Other than that, it's just following the directions for installing into the helmet and plugging it into the jacks on your bike.

I've been using J&M for many years, and currently have their Elite headset in my helmet. You can't go wrong with them, although they are a bit pricey.

I too have a couple of sets of J&M in current helmets and they are a vast improvement over the others that I've had.
The one from Cyclemax will at least allow music audio and intercom at about half the price of a J&M headset.
I guess we should have asked what his definition of an "affordable" price range was.
