First, welcome to the forum.

Second, I also have a 92 GL1500 and have found the "How-To Articles" and "Manuals" sections at the top to be invaluable.
That and so many very knowledgeable members can, and are willing to, help on just about everything.

Third, where in WA is Sakjyn? There are some great riders up that way and I know one in particular that I would like to introduce.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

Have a look at How to replace your cruise and sub filters - it shows you everything you need to know about that filter.

It's very easy to do, just did it about a month ago. For a few bucks, very cheap insurance. I will say, getting the cruise filter in the housing is a bit of a pain. Who thought an "L" shaped piece of foam in an "L" shaped housing was a good idea?

Welcome Johnny Ray, (no tears I hope from all that crying). Enjoy this Forum, where there are no stupid questions, but lots of good questions, and excellent answers. Dont forget the How=To area.
