Has the GL1200goldwings site died ?

Post by SilverDave » Wed Jul 15, 2015 9:50 am

The 1200 only site , gl1200goldwings.com has been suspended ?

It seemed pretty informative, to me ( a 1200 owner )

Does anyone know exactly what happened ?

I had read it over at GWfacts that the gentleman who ran the site passed away.

Yes, Vic unfortunately took his own life. The service is today. He was a really nice guy, I talked with him many times, and helped him with his site.

I didn't know the Gentleman and have never been to his website.

With that said, I'm sure the world is at a loss. My condolences to the family.

I have dealt with this type of event in my own family, and MANY times in my line of work.

It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

If you need to talk to someone, seek out a friend or confidant, and talk through it.

Hell...talk to me...I'm a personable guy.

Sad day indeed. I also have known Vic for many years and have spoken to him on occasion.
