Depends on the windshield. If you look through the shield, then you probably wouldn't want a tinted one if you ever ride in low light conditions, even a cloudy day. But if you look over the shield then tinted is fine. I have a tinted Wind Bender on mine and I really like the looks.

Love my F4+4 tinted. There is no problems w/"Low light" as stated above. Think about this, you look through tinted windshield of your cage!

I love my Tulsa tinted. I would never buy a shield without tint. However it isn't so dark that it interferes with vision under any conditions.

I have a Cee Bailey's light gray windshield on mine and you can hardly tell the difference between it and a clear one. I also look well over the top of mine so oncoming headlights/bright lights at night, fog, or rain at night pose no visual issues.

Stock non tinted OEM windshield ....

most tinted windshields are not so dark that they interfere with vision. I have a light grey tint that I prefer to look through and haven't had any issue seeing at night or in the rain(or both).

Suggest you look at the F4 windshield. They are a little more expensive but will not scratch. They repel rainwater very well and they are very easy to clean. At least look at their website.

I have a "Wind Bender" with a dark tinted lower on my GL-1500, and I love it ! When ever it comes time to replace, will be the same windshield. . . .

I'm afraid I'm still a bit old school. I've always had a clear shield on my Windjammer SS fairing, and I almost always look above the shield when I'm riding. I was considering the tinted replacement shield that Vetter carries. I'm not sure why exactly, unless it's simply a case of trying something different for it's eye appeal. Does anybody have any any experience with, or comments about, this windshield? How's visibility through the tinted screen when you need to view down low in front of the bike under low light and adverse weather conditions?

Thanks....................Dave
