Where to get regular shifter and foot pegs

Postby Ken Styles » Thu Aug 06, 2015 9:40 pm

My current 1986 interstate has the heel toe shifters and brakes with the foot platform.

I HATE these. it makes it hard to reach the ground and the platforms are making my ankles sore.

Where can I get the original or aftermarket foot pegs and shifter??

Mr Google, (or as some know him, Dr Google  ), offered this ebay site:

http://www.ebay.com/bhp/honda-goldwing-gl1100-footpegs

Hope this helps

Thank you so much!

Question: Would a brake and shifter from a 1986 Aspendale fit on 1986 Interstate?

What about the Windsheild??

Do I need any additional parts to change back to regular foot begs and pedals?

I found the shifter and brake pedal but there is also another part that connects the brake pedal to the bike - it has a spring on it. Do I need this part too?

Fail. He has a 1200...
And I don't wanna hear that you knew that but searched for 1100 anyway because they'll bolt up, either :P

When I got my GL1500, it had footboards and a heel/toe shifter. I sourced decent, used footpegs and a brake pedal from eBay. I bought a new shifter, shifter rubber pad, and new rubber pads for the footpegs from the OEM parts section on Cyclemax. The end result looked brand new.
