Heat rant

Post by NVSB4 » Mon Aug 10, 2015 5:05 pm

This is getting a little much.
It's 106 ambient with heat index of 111.

Not fun to ride, can't even stand to be in the garage doing some of the upgrades I'd like to do.
Tried last night and it was still 96 at 10pm.

OK, heat generated delirious rant over.
At least I can be on the forums and pouring over the web stores planning my next purchases. :D

I understand, we broke the temperature record for here today. Very oppressive heat in the Gulf of Texas.

Sorry to hear about the high temps. It must really be nasty for the firefighters out west!! Come on up to central Wisconsin. 10 day forecast is not expected to get above 86*f. Lows in the 50's to low 60's. In fact we have been just over 700 days since it has hit 90*f. :D Free camping to anyone on this site. Just PM me. :D :P

Now that's just mean.

It's been a while since it got DOWN to 80.
Looking at the extended forecast, we should be in the mid 80's in about a month.

I guess we should invite you down here in winter when the lows are in the 50's.

We from up Nawth already come there in the winter when it is nice and warm compared to our -30s. God bless Arizona, New Mexico and Texas for snow birds.
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Down here in the tip of South Texas we haven't seen a day under 100 for a month. Temps in the mornings are in the high 70's to low 80's with the humidity in the high 90's. Down right miserable this time of year.
