Trike kits

Postby c5cruiser » Thu Aug 13, 2015 1:51 pm

Just looking for an advance opinion.
Thinking about putting a trike kit on the GL1800 as I get older down the road.
I've been looking at the Voyager because of cost and I can take it off when I ride solo.

What do you think and what (for those that have them) have been your experiences?

I had one on my GL1500 it did the job well, the only thing I did not like was checking the rear tire pressure or adding air.

Yeah I suppose that would suck but I think that's a little price to pay for the lower cost of it.
The way I understand it is that it leans a bit on turns as you rounds the corner.

Yes, they do lean and that can be controlled through the 'Pre-load' adjustment.

I see you are in Corona. Ride down to San Marcos and talk to Rix at SoCal Trike Center about them. Or send him an email.
