They were phased out in the States in the 1980s. I love it when persons from different parts of world get involved with this game. It's interesting to learn what the same object is called and it's function in that persons part of the world.

Well, there is a caboose and there is the Gold Witch sitting nearby. I found this guy this evening in Greencastle, IN. just sitting by its lonesome. B&O Railroad car. My dad was an engineer on the L&N and I used to ride along with him, and a couple of times rode in one of these but they were all a mess. Pretty junky inside, but it was still fun.

If it is no problem then the next tag will be a vegetable stand or, if you are an urban creature, then a store with veggies sitting outside.

BTW, Indiana is beautiful this time of year. Especially since we've had plenty of rain.

I understand. What say we go with a pic of a business that is going out of business? They are everywhere, especially furniture stores.

Around here, it would be more of a challenge to have a picture of your bike next to a group of stores, without ANY of the stores going/gone out of business.

I know. I took a long ride today over to Indianapolis, down to and across US 50 to Lawrenceville, IL and back to Terre Haute and tried to take notice of places going, or gone, out of business. The amount of closed businesses was surprising. The little man is being squeezed out, which is not news, but if you are not in a strip kind of business ( convenience store , fast food, etc) or insurance, healthcare, car dealership, you're probably nervous. Indiana has a lot of small factories and that helps here but not sure about other places. People buy there stuff at WalMart and Amazon. That's okay. But if you are not close to one, or don't have a Home Depot in town you're screwed.

Here is a out of business in Ludlow, California. Even the fire dept is closed. Ludlow is almost a ghost town. If this is an acceptable tag, the next tag is a old police car with the bubble gum light on top.

Had a look round Ludlow on Google Earth. It really is a dusty old ghost town isn't it. Rather sad. And it's on Route 66! There was a similar place in British East Africa, in 1898, they established a depot for the new railway there. It is now called Nairobi, the capital of Kenya.

They do indeed, although they are blue here in the UK and as far as I know, the rest of Europe.

Here we go. Just has the top of the Gold Witch but on the phone it was okay??? This is in Clay City, IN. They call themselves the Mayberry of Indiana. Has bullet hole decals along the side.

If okay, then let's take a shot in front of a machine shop, welding shop.

There you go. I didn't think it was too hard to find, but then there are a million roadside stands here in Indiana. Now get out there and find a machine shop or a welding shop mate and get us a another tag. Rumor has it that WingAdmin is going to start paying big money for the first poster. Would buy a lifetime of Vegemite sammichas.

Well, I lied there.

Does this mean a "Sales" shop or "Repair" shop? ;)

Nah, those are too easy. Let's take a radiator shop though. They do lots of welding. Come on Pedro, you can do this.

What's an ice burger ride? I have those in the winter.

Wait a minute, those are boogers.

I enjoy an "Ice Burger" ride when properly dressed :D

I fly back to Telfer early tomorrow morning, they have a massive workshop and a welding bay, but I cant get my GL-1500 or my Valkyrie on the plane as baggage to take the shot :(

Maybe I can use "photo shop" to mash some clips together :D :D :D

But that not the game!

Have to wait till next week to give it a try. I should have flown back to work Monday, but I forgot my ID, and they wont let you on an aircraft without it! :x

Oh well, I got some more done on the assembly of my 1990-SE, but as usual I am waiting for parts to arrive, even mother Honda doesn't carry anything in the West Oz, even an "o" ring, everything has to be ordered from Japan :x :x :x :x :x :x

Happy and Safe Riding to Everyone!

Peter.
