Valkyrie in Italy?

Post by Andy Cote » Wed Sep 09, 2015 5:37 pm

A friend asked me a couple questions that I couldn’t answer.

His employer has offered him a job in Italy. The offer includes shipping an automobile and a motorcycle.

Question 1. Is there any law or other restriction preventing him from importing, insuring, registering or operating a Honda Valkyrie in Italy? Something unique about the phat gurl that becomes a no-no vs any other scooter?

Question 2. In case he gets an urge for a Moto Guzzi or Ducati, what would a very clean 97 Valkyrie Standard sell for in Italy? Should he sell here before he leaves or take it over and get a few extra euros in his pocket?

I thought you would have had an answer from the other three sites you asked the same question. If you have an answer, you should close off the question. Thanks

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.
