Welcome to the forum Stuart.
There's lots of information here to not only help pick out the right Wing for you, but also to maintain it after you find one.

Good luck on your search and keep us informed on what you find.

Welcome Stuart,

I hope you are very successful in finding a Gold Wing that suits your interest, desire, and pocketbook. I well remember when I went looking for a touring bike so the wife and I could talk to each other with some form of intercom that worked. It took a while but I got one and that just led to one more which led to another! It has been a fun endeavor.

I am not sure what you mean by a trip to the four corners, is that for your province, or Canada, or the US. Whatever, I have found that the way to make a trip happen is to begin planning and then just go. Of course money is always a stumbling block but once you retire you do have more time. 45+ years ago shortly after I married his daughter, my father in law told me that there two things that will control everything you want to do. They are time and money! And then he through me the curve ball and I have found him to be correct, you can always find the money, time is the difficult part.

Best of luck finding and enjoying your new GL1500.

As someone else has said, "When you find one that sings to you, you'll know it's the right one".
I just hope you aren't tone deaf. :D

I would like to retire in the next couple of years, but am afraid to.
The wife already has enough on my honey-do list to keep me busy.
I can't imagine what it would be like if I had more time on my hands.

NVSB4, I have ten chords of firewood that is in 8 foot lengths and needs to be in 2 foot lengths to fit in my outside wood stove. This will heat my house and water all winter. Let me know when you're in the area.

BTW.. Welcome Stuart. 98 to 2000 gl1500se... Good call ;)
