Hey all,
Following the DYI articles on this site, I set my valves ( properly) and adjusted the clutch (properly).
Wow what a difference. Next project is to balance carbs.
It still smokes alittle at start up but clears after it runs for a bit.
Thanks to you who have taken the time to write and post the pics.

It is as clear as mud now...

There is a detailed How-To that WingAdmin has put together on it there too.
It's not a hard job at all with the right tools and he does a great job describing how to put that together as well.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood!
