Local repair shop / coolant leak repair

Postby shadowf1 » Sun Oct 11, 2015 10:25 am

Can anybody recommend a local independent repair shop in the northern New Jersey area? I am not to happy with my local Honda dealerships quality of work and their extremely high costs.
I have a 97 GL1500 and one of the coolant hoses on top of the engine is leaking. I am looking for someone who would be comfortable taking on a job like this.
I can't do it myself as I have no where to work on it.

Thank you.

Do you have a self-service workshop in your area? This is where you can rent some floor space for a while and work on your GW. Another alternative is to inquire at a short-term rental of space in a storage facility. Some of these are car storage size, so would be ok to work on your GW.

Interesting idea REDIAL, I had forgot all about this idea.

Back when I was a kid and Dad was in the USAF, every base had a Automotive Hobby Shop for the guys to use for working on their cars, bikes, ect. They could be rented by the day, week, or month. Unfortunately I am not familiar with a civilian variant of this here in the states. . . .

Anyone got a million or two I could barrow to open up a business ? :D
