Can I do this?

I had the same scenario with a water pump replacement (which turned out great, no leaks and it was on a different goldwing) only this time i will tackle headgaskets and timing belts. I have never done this but am very meticulous with what i have done , which isn't much. I obviously will use this site and research extensively how to do this, but the million $$$$$ question is, "Can I do this?"

The bike is a 1981 gl1100.

Simple answer is YES.

I'm sure you can do it. It only takes a little more time, and of course you will check, check, recheck then check again just to make sure. The first time is usually the longest and most frustrating, but with careful preparation and time it will be fine.
