another Canadian eh!

Postby H20loo » Sat Oct 24, 2015 5:38 pm

I thought I should introduce myself because I really need a Battery tender(Oct contest)
So here is the short version- riding since 1964, have had 21 bikes, mostly dirt bikes, down sized to a KTM200exc 5 years ago, notable bikes were 500 triple followed by a 750 triple followed by an r90s and then back to the dirt.
When I was thinking about a street bike I rode various Harleys but I couldn't get comfortable. My search turned up an orange gl1800 that I fell in love with. Unfortunately, the seller loved it more and we couldn't meet on price. I then came across this 1500 with 35000 miles and 1/3 the price of the 70000 mile orange baby. There still may be an orange 1800 in my future but right now I am very proud of this beautiful 1500.
Its too big for my table, 4 x the weight of my KTM, takes up a whole bay in the shop- but I am getting use to it.
My first Honda.

Welcome, H2OLoo, (probably Waterloo?), and the more postings you do, the more chance of getting a battery tender.

Tell me, though, how often do you have your Honda guest for dinner? Just keep up your weight lifting course, and you should be right as far as lifting the Honda up on the table 8-)

That's what it says in his location, Waterloo Ontario Canada. Good deduction, though. :P :P :P

LOL Yeah I should have called it a hydraulic lift but in my shop we call it a table. Probably because it has beer bottles on it just as often as bikes.
A Honda guest would be better than some people that have been at my dining room table.... Just saying!
