Hi guys:

I just wanted to say howdy and let you all know that I found a lot of useful information on this site. I am a complete n00b when it comes to wings. I have a 1981 GL1100 Interstate w/ 73,000 miles on her that I just bought this summer. I have a very n00b question... I didn't feel like going to a shop with the bike and asking so I'll ask here first.

What does the 2010 and 2011 Pennsylvania inspection stickers look like? What color?

I was told that the bike recieved the annual inspection in May or June 2010 and half of the sticker is missing on the bike. The sticker is purple and I only see the number 5 on the right, any help would be appreciated.

I also am aware of the inspection sticker peeling off issue in PA.

Thanks a bunch guys!
Don

Welcome to the site! Not sure on the sticker color. Recommend taking alook at one of the bikes running around. I know there's a goofy time cycle on bike inspections as far as what month they are due and I believe that there is only half stickers applied. The peeling problem I think relates to the car and truck stickers. I said to hell with it and registered my Wing as an Antique, no inspection required and a one time license plate fee the no annuals.

Thanks for the reply MJSantos. I'm going to just register it as an antique too. I just didn't want to be riding a bike w/out a valid inspection on it.
