Question about monthly contest.

Postby RFW&LMW » Fri Nov 13, 2015 9:06 am

Am I correct in thinking that when we post a new topic we automatically register an entry into the monthly contest?

Click on the link for CONTEST at the top of the page and that page will get you entered. You need to do it each month. Then when you post, it is an entry for the contest. Keep posting and good luck :) .

You have to first register each month on the Contest page. Then after you have registered, every message you post during that month is another entry.

It does work retroactively within the month: If you have posted 40 messages during November, and on November 30th you register for the contest, all 40 of those messages you posted are counted as entries for the November contest.

:D that was good. I am still laughing at that one. Funniest thing I ever heard someone thinking the GL1800 is better than the GL1500

For a GL1800 owner it probably is... not so much for a GL1500 owner. My thoughts? We have enough conflict between Harley and Goldwing, do we really need it between Honda and Honda? I did find the posters remark amusing though... It demonstrates quick wit. And it gets an entry into the monthly contest, right?
It ain't about the destination - it's all about the journey

Golden Highway, BTW, you won the second best prize for a 1500. Look back, as I won the first best prize for a 1500. :D ;) ;) How is that for a slick entry. Good luck to all!

Comments are all in fun guys. Not trying to start a war.

Afterall I am a GL1500 owner and have no intentions of "upgrading". I love my bike and one lesson I've learned is if you love it, it's best to keep it.

When I got hit by the idiot that "didn't see you", I had a chance to get an 1800. I did a lot of searching and again chose to go with the 1500. My son has an 1800 but to me it was not as comfortable to sit on as my 1500. To each his own! :D BTW I won the first shifter brace contest. Great prize so I know what GH is talking about. :)

Agreed... one of each is the best of both worlds.
