Just Bought a 89 Goldwing on Ebay

Postby robb » Thu Jul 22, 2010 8:04 pm

After years of riding solo the wife suggested I buy a Goldwing for my 55th birthday so she could ride. Found a nice 89 within 50 miles of home. She is even opposed to my Vstar 1100 being sold since it was my 25th anniversary present. After 35 years I have learned not to buck the system. Looking forward to this forum being as good as the Yamaha forum. Hope to meet lots of new friends.

Black was good for a 135 in a 55 and 18 months on my feet, but my 69 427 vet made a 205 pass in 1/4 mile. Even this 22 year old Wing seen 100 within 30 minutes of ownership. After a 2 year set it's dying to be riden.
