Dyna Beads

Postby ken67217 » Sat Jul 24, 2010 1:11 pm

I just put new tires on my 1800 and installed the Dyna Beads in both tires and now have the smoothest ride that I have ever had and also resolved the cupping problem. I have over 6000 miles on the bike semse the change.

Yhat's good news, I think this is the first Post where someone has some miles on the beads. Getting ready to put new skins on my 83I and it sounds like Dyna Beads are the only way to go. Thanks for the input.

I also just tried them for the first time and was impressed. Of course I suppose it could be the new tires I put on also? Anyway, my concern is for an easy way to reuse them when I change again?

Why would you want to re-use them. Just replace them, their not that expensive, less than $3.00 an ounce.

From what I've read, over the life of the tire, they tend to pick up rubber and whatever else on the beads. They're cheap, I'd just buy new ones to install.

Not as cheap as me!

Actually, I got the last ones for free. I ordered 2 tires from rockymountainatv, free shipping over $100. I saw they had a place on checkout for a coupon, I opened a new tab and searched for "rockymountainatv coupon" I found a code for $10 off. I added Dynabeads and new stems for about $10 to my order, applied the code, and got them for free. Hard to beat free! The tires were Bridgestone S11s and the total order was $120.47 including fast shipping.

That's the same place I got my Avon Venoms. By far the cheapest place I found online, and the tires were new (checked the date code on them, to make sure they hadn't been sitting in a warehouse somewhere for a long time).
