have you see this landing gear?

Postby robinasq » Mon Feb 08, 2016 5:39 pm

I purchased a 95 AE 1500 Goldwing in Conn. Seller bought it originally in Minnesota. I have landing gear in the form of two small wheels that lower and rise with the push of a button on each handgrip. The wheels and small turning motor are anchored at the rear of the motorcycle and lower towards the front of the bike. I am unable to find any manufacturer labels at all. I have asked all of my local shops, nobody has seen this before. If you know of something similar to this set up, please contact me or share info. Thanks.

Nope, haven't ever seen a set up like that. Will it lift the rear tire off the ground if you use both of them?

I've seen quite a few landing gear systems before, but never that one. Could it be a homebrew job, do you think?

Yes, just barely lifts back wheel off the ground. It only operates both side wheels at once, not independently.

I was thinking an original creation, but everyone who has laid eyes on it tells me the welding is some of the best professional work they have seen .
Thanks.
