so I am wondering if using one of these in a slow race at a bike rally would be considered cheating?
On the serious side I like the engineering but the whole enclosed cab and steering wheel has to go, That is a 2 wheeled car not a bike. 8-)
Ride safe, Todd

Washington would classify that as an OTHER and require you to take classes and get an endorsement for an OTHER. The smart car is a rolling crash cage and what is around you is ultimately what keeps you alive in a crash. I can't see a way that we have the technology yet to build materials that would keep you safe in that taco. Neat concept but doubt it would pass any U.S. crash safety testing. Also... batteries go dead and oops, you slide down the road like a hockey puck.

The Honda 3R-C is quite interesting also.

Ride safe, and smart. Asphalt is like #1 grit sandpaper. Dave
