Motorcycle Licence Plates

Post by Kingston » Thu Apr 07, 2016 8:07 pm

I knew some countries had big plates, but when I saw this ad today, I could not believe it's size.
All plates in Canada and USA are about 4"x7".
I hated the way my Honda CB900F looked with the plate sticking out the back. So I have tucked it under the back of my fender since 2003, no problem with the law.
There is no way a plate larger than 4x7 could go where my plate is. So my question is, what size is your plate and what country?
By the way, my Gold Wing has it's plate on the normal spot, but it looks like it couldn't take a plate bigger than about 4x7.
I would really like to know what going on in other countries.

All US plates are 4x7... Don't know how many (few?) elsewhere would be different with the holders manufacturers put on them... but you never know, they make different models of lots of varieties for different countries...
