Open/close switch on visor

Postby Beetleman » Wed Apr 20, 2016 9:48 pm

What is this open close switch on my sedici visor. It's a brand new helmet and the visor seems hard to crack open at first but then opens the rest of the way just fine when it is in the closed position and really hard to open in the open position. If I leave it in the open position it won't seal up when I close the visor. What's this little switch for, why does it work opposite of the way I think it should work. Am I missing some cool feature of my helmet.

You didn't mention the model of helmet but here are a couple of videos about Sidici helmets which you might find helpful. However, neither mentions the problems you are encountering.

Its a Sedici Strada helmet from cycle gear in tulsa. It's hard to open the visor with the switch in the open or closed position. When I open the visor with the switch in the open position, the visor doesn't close all the way, it stays open on the side that the switch is on, kind of **** eyed. I'm going to try and call cycle gear after work if I have time before they close.

Sorry, I didn't think that word would get sensord. The visor gets male chicken eyed on the switch side of the visor.
