Does this an attraction or a distraction?
IF you tried it, you can CHANGE your vote.

DITTOES on mirrors.
Now, "IF" it had recording capabilities... it might be interesting to see what peeps face and/or actions look like when they think your not looking.

Or a bumper snicker,... "SMILE for my rear view bike-cam."

Probably get used to it but I would think it very distracting.

After sleeping on it, I wonder how distracting it could be.
Something catches your eye in the rear view monitor and you JUST HAVE TO watch for a second or two or 3? longer.
BOOM! A WOOPS MOMENT

Like WingAdmin, my rides mirrors work fine. So, I'm indifferent. You want it, that's fine, just not for me. Kind of like a HD.

Tried it out at a bike show....the advertisement picture really makes it look better that what you actually see.
You of course have to look up and refocus your eyes to the little rear view 'window'...didn't like it.....like texting and driving kind of feeling.....by the time you see what is going on there you will likely have driven into something.....
Like the side mirrors way better.

Dennis... that's what I thought also.
My newest habit is when looking at side scenery I will turn my head about 30 degrees and not move it. I find that just moving my eyes from the side and back to the road, my vision takes much less time to refocus, almost zero time. ODD why that is.

Deb thinks I'm not looking forward, she says I'm looking sideways for too long of a time. Little she sees what I'm looking at sitting behind me. In Wisconsin some farmer had a Zebra penned near Birch trees. Deb was looking right at the farm but missed it where I saw it in a quick glance. I told her about the Zebra, she said she didn't see it so I turned around. Lo-and-be-hold that farmer was pulling a Camel out of the barn right then.
So now I'm watching for Elephants and Giraffes... IN WISCONSIN! :o

We have enough camels in Australia, they even export them to Saudi Arabia - next thing we will be sending ice and snow to the Northerners ;)

But I think a Hemlet is a good idea, especially if you do not function before a morning coffee.

Why didn't I think of that.
But I do wear (MUST) my noise canceling headphones to get any sleep.
