Anyone near Cape Cod?

Postby Morgul » Fri Aug 13, 2010 8:04 pm

Just bought a 97 Wing and I'm looking for someone to ride with. Anyone here on the Cape or SE Mass?

I live in Eastham but ride a Harley. I am planning on buying a Goldwing in the near future. I s the one you bought the one with 17,000 miles for a good price? In the Times for a couple of weeks? I thought of looking at it but I want the 1800 around a 2007 or newer. If the one you bought is the same one sounds like you got a good deal.

I'm in West Barnstable and the Goldwing you saw isn't the one I bought. I've had mine since May and I haven't had a chance to ride much so I'm still getting used to handling a much bigger bike. Coming from a Harley you shouldn't have that problem. My old ride was a CB900F -- a sport/touring bike -- that I bought new in 1982 but haven't ridden in the past seven years. Maybe we can get together some time . . . meanwhile, welcome to a very helpful and supportive group.

When I get back from vacation in Sept. The Harley goes up for sale to make room for a Goldwing. This site says I live in P-Town which I don't and do not have a Wing yet. When I get the Wing then I will do a lot of riding again. My Harley has 104,000 miles and I only use it to go back and forth to work so no long rides with it. One last trip into the Birkshires camping then look for a Wing to put another 100,000 miles on. So ya I will do some riding with another Goldwing. It will be quiter than riding with Harleys.
