My bro left me this scoot

Post by dingdong » Thu Jun 09, 2016 7:01 am

Sorry to say my brother passed away recently. He left me this ugly old scoot in his will. It's a 2004 first year Rune. Don't have possession yet. I will have to go up to Idaho and pick it up. Probably in July.

My condolences.

That is a beautiful bike to remember your brother by.

Blessings to you to pass it forward to your family, and a long life to you as you pass it forward.....it would be a shame to sell it, I remember seeing this in showrooms when they 1st came out.

Great bike to have.

Take care.

CondolenGrats.
Condolences of your loss. Grateful to have a thoughtful brother.

That's one of those kind of bikes that won't be a daily rider.
Enjoy and remember him well.

Yeah they are definitely different. Either you love it or you hate it. Can hardly wait to go pick it up. I haven't decided what to do with it. Being a solo ride will cause it to sit for long periods since the wife rides with me 99% of the time. I shall see.

If you decide to keep the bike. Although pricey, Corbin does offer a dual saddle and Rivco is now making passenger floorboards for the Honda Rune.

DD - As everyone else said, and I agree, definitely sorry for the loss.

Regarding the Rune, that is a nice lil collectors item there. The Rune was a definite experiment with Honda and it is amazing how it was accepted. A wicked bike to have, I would not mind one in my stable (I just sold a large lawnmower so now I have room in my garage to do the work on my wing and and and .... )

I also offer my condolences.

Regarding the bike, if you can't take it right away and need to leave it in Idaho, I have room in my garage....

Dwight, I thank you for the offer. It is being stored with a friend in Garden Valley where my brother lived. So all is good.
