cold wing

Postby Gold Brick » Fri Jun 10, 2016 8:49 am

Hello; I just joined up recently & already got help from `big guy' Thanks again. Yesterday was big day for me --- got a 1992 GL 1500 Interstate --- lots of miles on it; lots of miles on me too !!! I took first ride on her to Peggy's Cove; not far from Halifax but it was only 13 * C with a pretty gusty wind. I love it already ---- as millions of others do --- what took me so long to get one !!! I' ll be haunting this site for info & advice; looking for some warm weather to do some new roads & old Nova Scotia favorites. Ride safe; Gold Brick.

First, welcome to the site.
There are lots of others here that still have 1500's and the How-To Articles are by far the best you'll find anywhere.
I would also suggest getting a manual. The official Honda Service manual is probably the best, but the others will get you through most of the time.
If you still have any questions, feel free to ask, as someone here has been in the exact same situation and worked through it.
I sold my '92 Interstate about 6 months ago and had probably gone over every square inch of it.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood!
