I use fishing line to cut under the emblem. After iit is off use alcohol or wd40 to remove the stickey stuff.

Interstates are blank lenses. Maybe post for an exchange with someone?

I noticed a couple on eBay that didn't have the lettering.

The sticker is probably the typical self adhesive vinyl. You can use a heat gun/hair dryer to warm it. As it warms, the adhesive will soften and the sticker can be pulled up.

Once the sticker is off, the adhesive will most likely stick to the chrome surface. That can be removed with Goof Off or WD-40.

Another probably problem is, you more than likely, will have a Sticker Shadow in the red plastic due to UV rays.
I'd suggest to try and switch even with someone without that sticker to eliminate the potential issue.
