Impulse motorcycle theft prevention/recovery device

Periodically, I will fund a startup on Indiegogo.com that looks worthwhile. This one caught my eye the other day, it's called Impulse.

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/impu ... cle-secure

It's a little box that wires to your electrical system:

It has quite a few functions, a few of which are:

Theft alert: If someone steals your bike, it notifies you, and tells you the GPS location of the bike.
Crash alert: If you crash, it automatically notifies EMS and/or your emergency contacts.
Voltage monitor: If your battery gets low, it notifies you (on your phone).
Location tracking: Kind of like a SPOT, it lets you track your location on an online map
Alarm: 108 dB siren

It requires cell network to operate, comes with free service for three months, and $12/month after that.

Price right now is $199 (if you purchase now), and shipping date is projected to be April of 2017. Expected MSRP after launch is $299.

This is the same company that released the GearBrake automatic brake light flasher a while back. It looks like an interesting product.
