extended foot pegs break cover

Post by husker89 » Sun Sep 04, 2016 5:26 pm

I have a gl1800 and it has fallen a couple of times and the foot pegs have punctured my case. Is there a brand out that will not break my valve cover area?

Thanks, mine are out in front of those. I am 6'2 . Thank you so much for a quick response, I thought I saw somewhere, that they had some that did not fold AND did not break your cover?

I'm also 6'2 and I have Mick-o-Pegs on my bike. Love em. The bike has also gone over a couple times, including one on a trip earlier this summer when it went over far enough to break off the side mirror. No problem from the peg, other than the shop decided to replace it because there were some scratches on it. Those scratches were actually from cornering while on the pegs, not the tip over, but I wound up with a new peg.

Anybody need a slightly scratched right side Mick-o-Peg?
