Loft-it Garage lift

Postby NVSB4 » Fri Sep 09, 2016 2:37 pm

I was going through an old magazine and found an ad for this lift.
It says that it will hold 1200# and raise the 4'x8' platform up to 6' high.

It took some searching, but I found the company that still sells them here

I would have to think about whether I would trust it or not, but it sure would help if your garage storage was tight.

I'm assuming those diagonal bars come off somehow to allow you to drive the bike/golf cart etc on and off? Or do you need a fork lift to put them on the platform sideways like that? :D

Good question, otherwise it would be like parallel parking in a in a spot no bigger than the vehicle.
Our bikes with reverse would have an easier time than most.
The site verbiage says "The diagonal end supports tip forward when platform is lowered to the floor to provide easy on and off loading", but not sure what that means.

Got to admit, that is intriguing! Price seems reasonable, too! In one of the pics, there's a full-dress Harley up on the lift - if it'll handle that, it'll handle a GoldWing!
