In need of new glasses for bike and cage

Postby flw » Thu Aug 26, 2010 10:40 pm

I need a new pair of eye glasses and I need them to drive the cage and bike.

I wear a full face helmet and would like to get a pair that are bike friendly.

Now I have to wedge the ear pieces between my head and helmet, its a overly tight fit. Do bike glasses really feel alot better than standard? I'll pay for fit/feeling but not so much for style.

Any suggestions on frame or lense features I may wish to consider?

I take my helmet when I pick out sunglasses, just because I want to make sure there will not be uncomfortable pressure with the design of the arms.

Probably not an issue for you with regular glasses, but I also stay away from polarized sunglasses for my bike (although my regular everyday set are polarized). Polarized glasses generate all kinds of annoying and distracting rainbows when looking through plastic (i.e. face shield, windshield).
