Electrical Troubleshooting For Everybody

Postby Solina Dave » Thu Oct 20, 2016 11:04 am

This link, which I personally have only just recently discovered, might have been made available to subscribers before. But just in case it hasn't, I felt that it was definitely worth providing to anyone interested. It probably should have gone in the "Tech" forum, but I thought that it would reach more of you in this forum.
The ElectroSport Industries site, http://www.electrosport.com/ , has a Technical Resources button at the top of their home page that will link you to an impressive selection of information, regarding electrical troubleshooting, on almost any vehicle you can name.
I have a '78 GL1000 with a blown stator, and possibly other battery charging problems. This link, http://www.electrosport.com/technical-r ... ?model=271 , gave me a lot of information regarding known issues specific to my GL, and also a troubleshooting plan to assist in correcting my electrical issues. This GL1000 link will give you an idea of what to expect.
I hope you find it interesting. Good luck.........................................Dave :D

You're right, good resource if you have a 1000, 1100 or 1200.
Wish they had some on the 1500.
I did find the Fault Finder Diagram interesting and saved it off just in case.

Sorry about that Chris. I guess I didn't look close enough.
Maybe you should contact them and suggest they pick up the pace a bit.

Nah, I prefer to remain delusional that there are no known electrical issues with the 1500. :D
