Value and Should I?

Postby agapedad » Tue Oct 25, 2016 8:36 pm

Brand new member...registered to find info about bike.
My last bike was a 94 Shadow. Loved it but had to sell it.
I have just been given an option to buy an 82 Goldwing with 48k on it.
They are only asking $500. Seems like a steal to me but they are friends and he can't ride anymore.
Thoughts?

If it is the bike in the photo, AND the bike runs - AND it has clear title - go for it
imho

Buy it, don't think twice. At 48,000 miles its just broken in. Change the timing belts before you ride it anywhere ( unless they have been done recently), change out all fluids add some seafoam to the fresh gas solder the three yellow wires and enjoy the wheels off it. There are other items that should be done can wait till a little later.Buy it!Buy it!Buy it! 8-)
Ride safe, Todd

Had three hip replacements and love to ride. $500 for the bike is decent.

Buy it you'll like it.... Then ride it like you stole it. Which you will have at $500.

Not sure it's needed at this point, but YES go for it. That's a steal at that price.

Buy it and come back and let us know how she rides.

The bags, seat and pipes are probably worth $500???? Odd color though, never seen a green one. I would not hesitate buying that bike if it ran. Does have one ugly windshield though.

IF you don't take it, I'm #2 in line.
That's either
HUNTER green or MONEY green.

Run don't walk away from this bike. Give me their name and number and I will talk with them. Being such a good hearted guy I would probably end up giving them the $500.00 out of sympathy.
