Is there a way that you can nicely turn a brown seat to black?

They do make a vinyl paint but I don't know how well it would work on something that flexes as much as a motorcycle seat, if it's leather then there are dyes for changing color. A upholstery shop would be a good place to ask.

the vinyl paint works well as long as you prep you seat good first
clean it and then clean it again, use paint thinner to wipe it down with a lint free or paint tac rag
use thin coats and let it dry for at least 2 hours between coats, when I painted mine from gray to black I ended up painting 5 coats
it was well over a year before the first signs of the original color started to show in the high wear area. a little touch up and it was good again
Just take your time with it
this was originally a grey seat

I have researched this before and found that SEM has a vinyl paint that gets the best reviews. Just like any other paint job, preparation is the key to success.
