coated my kickstand

Postby halcombrick » Tue Nov 15, 2016 1:06 am

I work at an auto supplier and we build Chevrolet headlights, part of that involves taking the plastic and metalizing it,,which is a fancy term for spray chrome. I wondered what it would do to my kickstand. It didn't make it chrome but looks identical to cast aluminum, I really like it. What do you guys think?

Well, Looks good but I kind of like it better in the primer.

That looks pretty sharp. I like it, especially with gray/silver lower parts, it fits in and doesn't stand out too much.

There both the same finish, just it looks brighter in the sun.
