Hi,just bought a 1500 se here in the uk and found your group,so much information to read and am looking forward to many years of ownership.pic enclosed.
Due to the weather here at the moment it will be a few months until my first decent ride.

Sweet looking ride! Looks to be either a '99 or 2000 model. I like the blacked out wheel. Did the PO do that?

Yes it's an early 99 bike,I think I remember the PO saying he painted the wheel when he put new brake pads on it ,the rear is still silver.

owning a new wing having to look at it sitting there unable to ride. I feel for ya. Im in Canada...will be snowing here soon enough. Get your maintenance done over the winter if you have the chance.

Be ready for the weather when it comes

The whole bike is custom paint, those colors were definitely not available from the factory. It's very sharp looking!

I don't think it's been repainted as there is another one for sale on eBay (uk) at the moment in the same colours.
Either way I agree it looks good.

I was thinking the same thing. Having never seen that color combo before. Perhaps specific to the UK. ???

Only thing I'm not too keen on so far are the aerials,do I really need 2 and do they have to be that long,can't get in the garage without folding them down.
