Fork oil 82 gl1100

My manual only tells how to replace fork oil on non air assisted bikes. Is the filler under the air lines on the front forks? I hate to take air lines off if I don't have to.

Probably the same as my 83 Interstate. Either you fill through the air port on each fork or remove the top cover from the forks. Either way you have to remove the air lines. Take the one off the right side first then remove the left. It's not that hard in this sequence. I've heard of someone filling through the drain hole similar to filling an outdrive on a boat but you still have to open the top to let the air release.
