While I'm in there ytis(eye-tis)

Post by brian.peters » Fri Jan 12, 2018 10:56 am

Replacing the tires so, " while I'm in there" going to change the drive oil, check brakes all that makes sense. But I think I tend to go too far.

I'm replacing the windshield so "while I'm in there" I'm going to upgrade the headlights and position lights to LED, and since I'm doing that imay as well do the cornering lights but "while I'm in there" there are marker lights to do as well.

I think I have a problem ;)

I think we all have that problem....that was my prob last spring. Seems like one of those "if you have a hurt "there" and go to the doctor, the doctor will find other things for you to worry about along with the issue you originally had".......sigh

A brand new windshield, it doesn't match. Well the windshield has done its job, so have all the lights up front (you we be pleasantly surprised at the new lighting) and it is also a safety issue.( Curtain drape deal)
Hey, you did all the important things first. Light it up!

Wow so looking at all the LEDs and I'm at 24 lamps and $180 and I'm not doing the cornering or turn signals. Don't want to mess with the flasher and the cornering lights can stay until they burn out or I decide to change them to rumning lights.

This includes the headlights and adding the lights to the saddlebag and fairing side markes.

It added up quick.

Will do. And LEDs have come a long way. Super bright has just about everything and for headlights it's like $75 instead of $110 at socal, and the position lights are cheaper as well

Why not get a pair of these and mount them as Driving Lights down below the fairing?

Very efficient, at Current Draw 2000mA/2450mA

wow, they must be popular, they were "in stock" when I posted that link.
they will be back, the New Year and the Trucker's Electronic Logbooks have slowed down the supply line.
