This is why we don't neglect proper footwear

Post by emhockey » Tue Apr 24, 2018 8:01 am

this must be my most interesting first post on a forum,

I was on the Yami not the wing last night but I just wanted to show why we always wear the right gear.... including on your feet. Because you never know when a porcupine will jump right out in front of you!

Awesome!

Reminds me of my "learning days" back in 1972 on a Yamaha CT-175

I was trying to perfect the art of riding on the Rear Wheel only....

Before that got accomplished, my butt landed in a cactus patch and a 1 inch long thorn disappeared into my right posterior.

It stayed there for over 2 years, maybe more? before it finally traversed itself out towards the forward right quadrant.

The doctor said X-Rays can't see thorns, "just be patient son, and in your stupidity of riding a motorcycle, it will come out one day on its' own"

I was not pleased with him

Nice save on the foot.
How did the porcupine fare in that encounter?

I would say he got a kick out of it ! ROTFLMAO !
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.

He definitely took a tumble! I think he walked away with a bruised ego and a prickly demeanor.
