Hello!

Postby dquinta » Wed Dec 01, 2010 7:24 am

New to the board. We ride a RED 2010 with all the bells and whistles except the air bag. In the past 7 months we have put on 8,000 miles and are loving it. We traded in a 2008 Ultra Classic because of the heat issues and noise. It's nice to go down the interstate amd hear the radio and see the screen. Oh yea, the 100+ lbs of torque out of the box is very nice. So far no problems or noises. Great board. Thanks.... Dave and Billie of Phoenix Arizona USA.... Riding all year round.

How do you find the heat riding in the summer part of "all year round"? I say that as I look out my window at the white snow falling down right now...I've never known all-year-round riding before!

What made you not pick the airbag? That's one thing that I really think I might look at on a new Wing.

Welcome!

Welcome too, from Sheboygan WI... On the shore of Lake Michigan. I too this morning are watching snow flakes falling in my yard.
I wish I could say that we could ride all Year around. But my old 1982 A is fast a sleep for a long winters nap!!
Just make sure you post when you ride, so we can ride along and enjoy...

Happy Holidays.

Welcome to the board/bored!! Live in SouthEast Indiana, ride all year, except in the snow, ice and salt, but weather permitting, down into the 20's, RIDE. Thank goodness for Gerbings and Safe and Warm clothing. Last time we were in Phoenix the temps were fairly cool for september, only 96 for a high. I have cousins just north of Phoenix and my brother used to live in Scottsdale and owns property in Care Free. 30 years ago my parents lived in Sun City but moved away to get away from all the "old people".

Welcome from a UK member. Here in the south is cold but not covered in snow unlike the north of the UK which is up to 8 inches. Had a ride today it was only -1 centigrade so not too bad. Roads were clear and appeared 'dry' unlike the car drivers that were plenty and appeared 'Wet'.
