Posting for an entry in December's contest...

Next I need to figure out if the brake light flasher is even allowed in the Land of 10,000 Restrictions (Minni-snow-ta).

From the Signal Dynamics web site:

The BackOFF XP is legal in all 50 states. However, due to state regulations, which require a specific flashing pattern, California residents must use User Selected Mode 2.

I already have a brake light flasher, but I'm tempted to buy a second Back-Off unit and replace mine with it. I like the idea of using it as a four-way hazard light, because my bike (1100) doesn't have that feature.

The four-way hazard light feature would be nice when freeway traffic comes to a screetching halt, and distant drivers who aren't paying attention suddenly jam on the brakes to avoid a rear-end collision. Pulling over to the side of the road during a heavy downpour would be less stressful, too.

I put in for the contest the last few months but just realized that the more you post the better the chances.

I've been running this contest here now every month since April...and every winner except for one has had more than ten posts, I believe there was one month where the winner had only a couple of posts. But yes, the more posts, the more chances you have of winning! :)

I was hoping to break the trend of ten posts or more to win with my one post but I guess I ruined that chance with my second post.
